From 21 March 2012, James Steventon will take part in Altered States: a three day immersive workshop with British Performance Artist Martin O'Brien, allowing artists working with endurance based practices to exist in extremis.

As part of DIY8, this year's Live Art Development Agency's professional development programme, James Steventon will be taking part in A Line Made by Walking Without Marking the Earth.
SACRED InTRANSIT
SACRED InTRANSIT at Chelsea Theatre was a one-day workshop examining the relationship between performance action and image. Following an introduction to Manuel Vason's artistic practice and the role of collaboration within it, the practical session questioned the relationship between live action and image, working individually and in groups, to explore the dynamics of image making.
Body Weather: Body/Landscape
Body Weather is a comprehensive training and performance practice that investigates the intersections of bodies and their environments. Bodies are not conceived of as fixed entities, but like the weather, constantly changing through an infinite and complex system of processes. Taking Body Weather into the landscape, the aim is to explore and develop consciousness of the body itself as an ever evolving landscape within a greater surrounding landscape.
